Accommodation & Fees
Originally a beautiful farm house, Rose Cottage has been converted into a luxury care home for 29 residents.
We provide 24-hour Nursing or Residential care in single rooms, all of which have wash basins and most a private bathroom. We also have one double room available.
Consistent with our ethos, residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, helping to add a positive and comforting feeling to them, and they can even bring small furniture with them.
There are 3 lounges, and 2 dining areas, all of which are beautifully decorated and add to the relaxing and sociable feel of the Home. An extra touch, we find helps to bring an extra level of comfort, is the flexibility for meals to be served in the comfort of a resident’s room, if preferred. However, as part of our aim to encouraged a sociable, active, and happy environment, our residents are encouraged to eat in communal areas as much as possible.

The fees are all inclusive of full board, personal care, and laundry.
Fees are paid monthly, two weeks in advance and two weeks in arrears. One-month notice is binding both parties.
Our fees increase each year in line with Sheffield funding levels.
Here at Rose Cottage we take pride in our open-door visiting policy. If you would like to visit us, you can come whenever suits you and there will always be someone on hand to show you around. That way, you get to experience our home in the most genuine and every-day way.
Our Manager, Mrs Sarah Marsden, is available to give information and advice, by appointment at the home or can arrange to make a home visit to discuss your care needs.
Our Location
We are situated in the quiet suburbs of Halfway, approx. 7 miles from the City of Sheffield and 1 mile from Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre.
We are 200 yards from the Halfway Tram terminus, on main bus routes, within easy reach of Sheffield Parkway and M1 motorway.
Our location, and transport links, makes the Home extremely convenient for visitors from Sheffield, and further afield.
