Our Care Philosophy
Everything from residential and nursing care homes, to dementia care and disability support
Here at Rose Cottage we strive to ensure our residents are provided with the highest standard of care, whilst in a happy and relaxed environment.
For us, feeling at-home is crucial, and we work hard to ensure Rose Cottage is a homely, happy and safe experience for all. Within this environment, staying active is hugely important, with all of our residents being encouraged to be as active as possible.
We feel you cannot create a happy and homely environment without family and friends – this is why we have created an extremely flexible visiting system, to ensure visits at all reasonable times are accounted for and encouraged.
We appreciate that moving into care is a huge decision for someone, and their family, so we want to make sure living at Rose Cottage offers a home from home, where you will always be greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly face.
A main focus at Rose Cottage is the individual – no two people are the same, and neither are any two people’s needs. That is why we create and regularly review individual care plans for all residents, with every individual having the right to view information on their personal life at any time.
Our staff are not only chosen for their professional abilities – being qualified from level 2 and above – but also for their understanding and respect of an individuals right to privacy, dignity, confidentiality and freedom of choice. With these highly qualified staff, who are also encouraged to study for National Vocational Qualifications, you can be confident in the fantastic quality of care here.
